Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round. I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theatre of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world.
Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment.
When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to:
M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc. Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A.
along with a 3x5 card reading, "Please use this M&M for breeding purposes."
This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this "grant money." I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. From a field of hundreds, we will discover the True Champion. There can be only one.

So I really do hate this place. I ask one simple favor for someone to wake me up so that I can see my friends on ones particular birthday, and what happens? Nothing. Nobody wakes me up. So with that, I slept in, missed Sam's BBQ, and an opportunity to see the rest of my friends, something I don't get to do very often anymore. I hate it. Sam, i'm sorry I didn't go, hope you had a good birthday. I texted you happy birthday on the 11th, you didn't respond so I don't know if you didn't get it, or maybe you got a new number and some random person got a happy birthday message. Anyway, happy birthday if you read this.

So all my time is spent either working, sleeping, or playing video games. Oh, and occasionally doing things in Photoshop. Which btw I really want CS3, but I don't feel like pirating it right now...eventually. So anyway, theres a few sites I frequent that have to do with team based gaming for the Xbox 360, and they have graphics sub forums, which hold contests. So I decided to enter a few of them and i'm going to share with you my entries haha.

Would you rather have a well paying job that you hate, or a lesser paying job that you enjoy?
Well, today I stepped down from my brand new position and reclaimed my old one. I guess i'm the kind of person who would rather enjoy what they do, not so say I love having a paper route, but the reason I took the job was for the freedom I had. after my first day in the new position, I realized all that I liked my previous job for was now gone. So, even though I would have been getting paid twice as much, I decided to take my old job and told my manager I didn't feel that the position was for me. Back to $200 a week with 3 1/2 hour days, 7 days a week. Already i'm much happier.

So...about 2 weeks ago Ed started bringing me to work with him on a paper route...and then after a week of that I started doing it by myself. Pays 200 a week, every 2 weeks. I show up at 2am, and get done by 5:30 every night, not too bad, I dont deal with people, and I can listen to music. Pay is not a lot, but it's all being saved since I have nothing to spend it on right now. Didn't get paid yet though...i'll figure that out later. So the thing is, last night they told me they wanted to give me a promotion...I was like wtf, ive been here a week? But ok. So im on the Reserve now...which means I still show up every night at 2am and I stay until 6, I can take 2 days off each week, but I get a bonus if I work the entire week.. Basically, I hand out bundles of papers to all the carriers and then I sit around. I train new people, which isnt very often, and I deliver routes that people dont show up for, which also isnt very often. Minimum pay is $540 every 2 weeks, so im up to $270 a week now. But, if I work all 7 days and dont take any off, thats an extra $140, putting me at $680 every 2 weeks. Also, if I have to pick up an extra route, thats $10 for each day I have to do it. So sometimes, i'll make $800. Doesn't seem too bad, I only work 28 hour weeks, which comes out to like $9/hr if I go by the minimum I can make. I'm scared because I don't know any other routes, nor do I know the area so if I'm given an address I still wont know where the hell to go.
cliffs: I got a paper route I got promoted after a week I'll make $270 to ~$340 a week ($9hr+) I hope I don't fail at this, I could use the money for school.
